In 1980, he defended his PhD thesis in "Processes and Apparatuses of Chemical Technology," titled: "Study of the Mixing Process in a Fluidized Bed and Free Fluid Flow under an Electromagnetic Field and the Development of an Electric Mixer," and in 1995 — a doctoral dissertation on the topic "Development of a Combined Flotation Method Using Peat for Wastewater Treatment."

Vladimir Devisilov
Candidate of Sciences, Associate Professor, First Deputy Head of the Department of Ecology and Industrial Safety at BMSTU and is the Head of the Filtering Division
V.A. Devisilov serves as Scientific Secretary of the Scientific and Methodological Council for Health ad Safety of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. 
He graduated from Bauman Moscow State Technical University in 1974 with a degree in Aircraft Engines, qualifying as a mechanical engineer. In 1981, he defended his dissertation on the hydromechanics of non-Newtonian fluids in 1981 he defended a dissertation on the hydromechanics of non-Newtonian fluids.
